Polite Paws is owned and operated by Carolyn Cieslar.

Carolyn is a Professional Dog Trainer, certified through one of Canada's leading dog training institutions, located and registered with PCTIA (Private Career Training Institute Agency), in British Columbia.

She has also earned the Canine Specialist designation through the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada, as well as several certificate courses through the Humane Society of the USA, Doggone Safe, and The Vegan Dog Nutrition Association. She is a corporate member of Responsible Dog Owners of Canada and certified as an evaluator for the Canadian Canine Good Citizen Test.

Carolyn owns two rescue dogs, adopted through Winnipeg Animal Services - Darla, a Rottweiler/Hound cross and Dylan, a Border Collie cross. She is actively involved as a volunteer with Winnipeg Animal Services' Adopt-a-Dog Program, providing obedience training and promoting responsible dog ownership.
